Communion is celebrated the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month. Led by God’s Word, we desire that the people who receive Holy Communion:
- Are properly prepared through repentance and faith in Christ (1 Corinthians 11:28).
- Realize that they are receiving Christ’s very Body and Blood in the bread and wine (1 Corinthians 10:16, 11-27).
- Understand that partaking in the body and the blood of Jesus Christ, is having communion with Christ. This communion with Christ constitutes the communion (or fellowship) we have as people with each other. Our fellowship is therefore a unity in faith and doctrine (1 Corinthians 10:17; Acts 2:42; Romans 16:17).
Guests are welcome if they are a member in good standing of a sister Lutheran Church–Canada congregation, who have been instructed in the faith. All other guests are asked to please visit with Pastor first. God bless you.
