Thursdays at Noon

In Divine Service, setting 4 of our hymnal we sing the Alleluia and Verse before we come to the reading of the Gospel: “These things are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.”

On Thursday’s at noon we read and study “these things that are written,” and we do it in many ways. We share what commentators say regarding these texts, how we understand and hear it, and, in light our confessions, as we also read the Book of Concord, how we think the text should be preached on Sunday.
